The following day, they made their promotional debut on stage on the music show Show Champion.

On July 1, 2016, the group returned with their second mini-album Summer Vibes with the title track Breathless, a pop-colored song for summer. Choi Yoo Jung, a member of the group I.O.I and also a trainee of Fantagio, makes an appearance in the MV of Breatless with the group.

On November 10, 2016, they released their third mini-album Autumn Story which is divided into two versions, the Orange version and the Red version, with Confession as the title track. On the same day, their second show ASTRO Project is released and is also available on their channel V LIVE.

To close their album series based on the seasons, ASTRO released their special album Winter Dream with the title song Again (literally translated Should've Held Onto You), on February 22, 2017 which is one day before their official debut day. They will not be doing any promotions for this song but they will be holding a special event, The 1st Astro Aroha Festival where they will be doing their first performance for the song Again.
