WJSN (우주소녀, uju sonyeo) also known as Cosmic Girls is a 13-member female group from Starship Entertainment. It officially debuted with 12 members on February 25, 2016 with its first mini album "WOULD YOU LIKE?"
A thirteenth member, Yeonjung, was added when the group returned in August 2016.

Fun fact about WSJN or Cosmic Girls

• The name of the fanclub Ujung (우정) which means friendship in Korean, it is also the abbreviation of space station.

• This group was created with the aim of appealing to both Korean and Chinese audiences.

• Cosmic was chosen to imitate the fact that the girls will be able to attract these two countries with different universes.

• WJSN stands for "Wonder Joy Sweet Natural," which is the four subunits of the group.

• WJSN can also stand for Wuju Sonyeo which translates from Korean as the girls of the universe.
